If you have an ecommerce, any visitor who browses your site, views the product and whether or not they complete the purchase, is tracked and entered in the Ecommerce section that you find in the Statistics panel accessible from your editor’s Site Management.
This section is divided into:
– General: here you can view a graph to monitor the trend and have a global overview of the ecommerce. The report thus shown can be filtered based on some parameters such as Total Goals, Percent Conversions, Revenues, Total Products. The Products and Categories tables offer a detail of both the most purchased and viewed products, and the most interesting categories for users;
– Details: within this panel you will be able to view all visitors who have been tracked within your ecommerce site. The data that can be provided to you concerns the actions performed within the site, the device used, the channel of origin and the geolocation of their IP address. It will also be possible to analyze any abandoned carts by the user with the related goods they had tried to purchase;
– Searches: this sub-section is quite intuitive, within which the most searched words within your ecommerce are shown.
You can filter any table in ascending or descending order by clicking on the parameter at the top of each column, to sort the table as you like.
N.B: the abandoned cart may appear even if the user has actually purchased. This happens when the user uses a payment method that redirects him to the account site, such as Nexi or PayPal. In this case our system has no track on that site and consequently shows the cart as abandoned because it has been redirected off the site.
