Through the Booking Management, you can create a room quickly and easily, to receive reservations immediately.
To best set up the website for your hotel or B&B, you need quality images that can show the beauty and comfort of your accommodation.
The photos must show all the rooms and all the environments and must be accompanied by a brief description together with all the technical information on the reference room. This guide will show you how to add or change rooms on your new Booking website.
You can add a new room by clicking on Rooms in the side menu of the Booking Management.
Click on New Room to start creating it.
Enter the name and description you want to give to the room.
If you have more than one room, you can indicate the Quantity.
Apply the most beautiful image of the room as the Main Photo because this will be shown in preview, but if you have others, upload them to the gallery to show them when the user clicks on the camera.
Select the type of room among Single, Double, Triple, Quadruple, Quintuple, with the respective variants. These types set by default the number of guests, and therefore of beds, available in the room.
If you choose Other or Entire Accommodation, the number of guests who can stay can be decided by you, from a minimum of 1 to a maximum of 20.
N.B: This choice cannot be changed later.
If you wish, you can set additional beds if you have foreseen their application in Settings -> Options.
These beds will be added to the total number of beds available for the selected room type, and the additional price indicated in Settings -> Options will be applied.
In the next section you can indicate if the room you are creating belongs to a main room.
By selecting No, you make this room the main one, i.e. not connected to any previously created room.
This is useful if you have set up multiple rate plans, such as Breakfast, Free Cancellation, Breakfast + Free Cancellation, Sea View, etc.
In this way it is possible to indicate the main room with the basic rate plan.
By creating duplicates of the same room, you can associate these duplicates with the master room and select a new rate plan for each of them.
Example with a double room and two sea view rate plans, breakfast:
Name: Marine double room -> no rate plan, main room: select No.
Name: Marine double room with sea view -> rate plan: Sea view, main room: Marine double room.
Name: Marine double room with breakfast -> rate plan: Breakfast, main room: Marine double room.
In this way we will have created 3 rooms, of which the first is the main one.
Then you can set the Minimum Stay from 1 to 7 days and the Maximum Stay from 1 to 31 days. Next, you can indicate the price per night of the stay.
If your room can accommodate more people, and you expect a different cost based on the people who will stay in your room, in the Price variations section you can indicate the cost per night depending on the number of occupants and the relative season, if set.
Finally, check the additional services, previously created, to be applied to the room, in order to make them available and selectable by customers.
